Terms of Service

Last updated 13 October 2026. These terms apply to the software licensing and the services sold through this website.

1. Who you are dealing with

“Windowstech Hub”, “we”, “us” means the business operating this website at windowstechhub.com. We supply software licensing and provide technical services — support sessions, system migration and project work — for individuals and home offices. You can reach us at support@windowstechhub.com.

Our business details — trading name, address and any tax identification number — are shown on every invoice and are available on request before you order.

2. What we sell

  • Support session — one session, one PC, at $49 USD.
  • System migration — moving your Windows installation, programs and data to a new drive or a new PC, at $99 USD.
  • Software licensing — genuine licences for Microsoft (Windows, Office, Microsoft 365), Adobe, AOMEI and EaseUS titles, priced per title and confirmed in writing before payment.
  • Project work — custom software and automation, websites, backup and disaster recovery planning, and planned IT maintenance. Quoted separately and billed in stages.

3. Quotes, prices and payment

You receive a written price before anything is charged. Published service prices are fixed at the time you order; licensing is quoted per title because rates move with the product. All prices are in US dollars unless we say otherwise.

Payment is by card or bank transfer, using the payment link or invoice we send after you approve the price. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. We do not charge before you approve a price.

4. Support sessions

You grant us access to your PC for the booked session only, using screen-sharing software of your choice (for example TeamViewer, AnyDesk or Quick Assist). You agree to stay at the machine for the duration. You keep control throughout and may end the session at any time.

We work on the problem we agreed. If, during the session, the real cause turns out to be outside our scope (see the list of what we do not cover on the Support page), we will tell you and stop rather than improvise.

5. Your responsibilities

  • You confirm you are authorised to grant access to the PC and the data on it.
  • You keep backups of anything irreplaceable. Where no backup exists, we cannot be responsible for data loss caused by a fault that already existed on the machine.
  • You give us accurate information about the machine, the software and the problem.
  • Licences are for your own lawful use: not for resale, and not for activation on more PCs than the number stated on your order.

6. Licences

Each licence is supplied for the product, edition and number of PCs stated in your order confirmation, and every licence is checked before it is sent. If a licence cannot be activated, contact us within 14 days of delivery: we will try to fix the activation with you, and if we cannot, we replace the licence or refund it. Licences that activated successfully are not refundable.

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: a single support session we cannot solve is refunded in full; a migration we cannot complete is refunded in full; a licence that will not activate is replaced or refunded; project work is billed in stages, and you pay only for stages you have accepted.

8. Limits of our responsibility

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care, and we tell you in advance when a problem is outside our scope. To the extent the law allows:

  • our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service or code concerned;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost business;
  • we are not liable for faults in hardware, for physical drive failure, or for third-party software or services we do not supply.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above will change. The version in force when you placed your order governs that order.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our operating entity is registered, and disputes are handled there. The entity and its jurisdiction are stated on your invoice and available from us on request before you order.

11. Contact
