Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 October 2026. What this site collects, what you send us, how it is used, and how to get it deleted.

1. What this covers

This policy covers the website windowstechhub.com and the software licensing and technical services we sell through it.

2. What this website collects automatically

Nothing that identifies you. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, has no advertising or social-media trackers, and loads no third-party content — the fonts and every other asset are served from this domain, so viewing these pages does not send your IP address to Google or anyone else.

Like any website, serving a page requires our hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc.) to process the request. Their standard logs include IP address, user agent and timestamp, and exist for security and abuse prevention. We do not use them to identify visitors, and we do not build visitor profiles.

3. What you give us

Email is our only contact channel. When you write to us, we receive:

  • your email address, and your name if you sign the message;
  • whatever you choose to describe — your PC, the problem, and any details or screenshots you include;
  • for paid work, a confirmation of payment from our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

During a support session an engineer can see your screen, your files and your settings. We work only on the problem we agreed, we do not copy personal files unless you ask us to and tell us where to put them, and the session software itself may keep its own session logs under its own policy.

4. How we use it

  • to answer your enquiry, quote a price and agree a time;
  • to deliver the service or the licence you ordered;
  • to keep a record of what was agreed and what was paid, including because tax and accounting rules require it;
  • to honour our refund and replacement commitments.

We do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not send marketing email.

5. Who else sees it

We do not sell, rent or share your information. A small number of service providers process it only so that we can operate:

  • our hosting provider — serves this website;
  • our email provider — delivers your message to our inbox;
  • our payment provider — processes the payment and tells us it succeeded.

Each of them sees only what is needed for that task. We will also disclose information if we are legally required to.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that lead nowhere — up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Job records and invoices — as long as we must keep them for accounting, tax and warranty purposes, and for our refund commitments.
  • Session information — anything recorded or tool-logged for a job is kept only as long as the job and its warranty period need it.

7. Your choices

Email support@windowstechhub.com and you can:

  • ask what we hold about you, and get a copy;
  • have it corrected if it is wrong;
  • have it deleted, where we are not required to keep it for tax or accounting purposes;
  • ask us to stop using it, or to delete your enquiry before any work starts.

We reply within 12 hours and act on requests within 30 days.

8. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If a child has written to us, tell us and we will delete the message.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top changes with it. The current version always applies from the day it is published.

10. Contact

Questions about privacy, or a request under section 7: support@windowstechhub.com. Our business details are shown on every invoice and available on request.
